I never had the pleasure of riding one of these. Anyone here old enough to remember riding a trolley? This one is on Tremont Avenue Approaching 3rd Avenue from Arthur Avenue. In fact, that corner building you see wraps around from Tremont Avenue to Arthur Avenue and is where my dentist was on the second floor facing Crotona Park.

I may be off by a year or so, but I believe the trollies were all replaced by buses in the Bronx sometime in the 1948 time frame.

I have Lenny, in fact I still have a scar on my knee from when I fell on the track down by West Farms. I was running with a friend to catch the train, and fell, and to this day the scar is still there. I was about 10 yrs old. If I remember right, we caught the Trolley on 180th St down to West Farms.
